Melbourne Cup 2025 - Tuesday November 4

Time to dust off your hats, choose your best outfits and head on down to the Sporting Club for Melbourne Cup Day fun and frolics! Starting at 11.30 am, with prizes for Best Hat and Best Outfit. There will also be a sweep - it isn't Melbourne Cup Day if there isn't a sweep! - and raffles to be won. Bring your own nibbles/plate to share and enjoy the day while supporting your local club. ABOUT US

The Green Head Sporting Club Inc is a community-managed, not-for-profit sporting facility offering lawn bowls, golf, darts, and tennis.

We have an 18-hole golf course with sand greens and a six to seven-rink bowling green with synthetic turf. We have three permanently fixed, spot lit dart boards in our clubhouse facility, and two tennis courts.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for sports enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. We are dedicated to promoting friendship, physical activity, skill development, and sportsmanship.
